Pay for a room just to get Fastpass+ 60 days in advance

Pay for a room just to get Fastpass+ 60 days in advance

"Can you get resort hotel reservations just for the FastPass and not check in assuming one pays for the room?"

I guess so

I never really thought about it, but yes, you could make a reservation, do online checkin, and never actually use the room. As long as it's paid for, it should work.

Those would be pretty expensive FastPass+ tickets, but it could be done.

Save your money

I think there's a better way.

If you arrive right at opening time and have a plan to ride the busy rides first, for the most part you can avoid the lines at the busy rides.

If you aren't staying onsite avoid morning Extra Magic Hours days.

Make the FastPasses you can get at 30 days in the afternoon and use the slow time in the morning to hit the long line rides.

***UPDATE*** Someone reminded me that campsites at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds would qualify for FastPass+ at 60 days, so it's not as expensive. Still expensive, but not as expensive as a hotel room.

Dad's Bottom Line

Bryan, it's doable, but expensive.

It is diaappointing to get to the park that morning and even before it opens (becuase i was at a breakfast and still couldn't get a fass pass - they were all gone.

Normally i plan ahead - however i took a couple of friends just for the day - hard to believe but they had never been and i wanted them to ride Soarin' - we had to wait over an hour in line.

Wow... looking for a better way.
