Queen bed table at POP

“I noticed all the reservations for POP Century have either 1 king or 1 queen and 1 queen bed/table hybrid. I am concerned that this combo will not be as comfortable as a regular bed.

We stayed at the Music Resort suite in 2007 and I got stuck with the pull out and it was so uncomfortable, I had to ask room service to get an extra mattress to put on it. As I now have numerous health issues and have not gone to WDW in several years, this trip may be my last. I love POP but was considering the AOA too.

I really cannot afford more than a Value resort. I haven’t made reservations yet because I’m really hoping some deals will come out for the fall. Thank you for all you do for us.”

It’s Surprisingly Comfortable

Hi Deborah,

I too have been worried about the “Innova Beds” at the Pop Century. I’m a big fan of having a “real bed” to sleep in. One of my big problems with the Family Suites is there is only one “real bed”.

So, I was very apprehensive when I got a Pop Century room with the fold down “Innova Bed”. I will say I didn’t actually sleep in it, but I did get up on the bed and found it to be very comfortable.

It’s not one of those fold out beds with a skinny mattress which you can feel the springs through. The mattress is a full queen sized mattress. It’s probably a foot thick and is very supportive.

I too have many health issues but would be comfortable in the Innova Bed.

Dad’s Bottom Line

I really like the new beds in the Pop Century. They are queen size instead of the previous full sized beds, and they are real beds. I have no qualms in recommending the Innova Bed for 2 adults. Even Pooh Sized adults like me.
