"Booking a 1 bedroom villa at Old Key West. Which buildings and/or rooms would you suggest to be in a quiet area. First floor only. "

Old Key West is pretty quiet, there is even a golf course that runs through it

Rita, I'm not real familiar with Old Key West, so I asked my friends from Destinations to Travel to help with this. They have several agents that have stayed there a bunch.

This comes from Stephanie Walsh from Destination to Travel -
"Old Key West is a great Disney Vacation Club Resort; the rooms are spacious and very accommodating for larger families.

If you are wanting a building close to the Hospitality House with a quieter atmosphere I would suggest buildings 16, 29, or 62. These are all in fairly close proximity to the main building, but are far enough removed to cut down on noise.

If being close to the Hospitality House is not a huge concern I would suggest buildings 32, 33, or 34. These are all close to transportation, but not super close to a pool that usually draws a crowd and extra noise. Buildings 19-22, 38, 39, 41, 42, and 49-51 would be my last choices as they typically experience road traffic noises.

In all my visits I have always found Disney's Old Key West Resort to be quiet and relaxing.  I hope you have a wonderful vacation!"

Dad's Bottom Line

Rita, Old Key West may be the quietest resort at Walt Disney World. The only loud noise you’ll hear is the sound of golf clubs hitting golf balls.
