Resort Pool Hopping

by Kathy
(Tejas)

Hi Dad, happy superbowl day!

If we stay at an Walt Disney World resort (say… Pop Century), can we swim at any Disney Resort pool (say… Polynesian), or is that a no-no?

Thanks!

Dad’s unofficial Answer

Kathy,

No today is happy Ladies Day at Dad’s Guide. We’re having a party and ignoring that other thing.

Nanea or the volcano pool at Disneys Polynesian Resort
Nanea – Disney’s Polynesian Resort

The official answer to your resort pool hopping question is no, you can’t swim in the pool at the Polynesian Resort. Here is Disney’s official policy – Please note that pools are for use only for Guests of that specific Resort hotel. Lifeguards are on duty at select pools during daylight hours. The real answer is unless you are there in a very busy period, no one will question you. It does happen from time to time and people are asked to leave.

Dad’s Bottom Line

Officially the answer is, resort pool hopping is a no no. That’s my story and I’m stikin’ to it.
