Dad, thank you for all your help. After reading your web site, I realized that I better get a car and also that it may be a little bit hard to use all the meals included in the Disney Dining Plan if you are traveling with children (5 and 2). Considering that, and even though I took your advice and reserve at Old Key West, I’ve wondering about staying off property, since I can take advantage of the car and probably won’t be really using the dining.
But I still want a villa and I’d like to know if you are familiar with some resorts outside Disney World like Sheraton Vistana Villages and/or Floridays and/or Nickelodeon and could give me your opinion on those resorts as two bedroom options outside Disney. With best regards. Gonzalo
Dad’s sorry, I’m a Disney guy Answer
I’m always glad to help. I wish I could help you with those resorts outside Disney World. I’ve heard about them, but I don’t know anything about them.
I’m a Disney guy (for now). Just keeping up with the parks, the 25 hotels, and the 400 restaurants is more than one little Dad can handle.
One of these days, I’m going to expand the Dad universe. But for now, I’m all Disney all the time.
I do know that you will pay a whole lot less at those other resorts, but you also get a whole lot less. Disney’s hotels are top rated for customer satisfaction every year. You are immersed in Disney all the time. When you stay with Disney, you don’t have to worry about getting a sub-standard room. Disney doesn’t allow it.
Staying with Disney comes with some perks more than dining and transportation, the chief of which is Extra Magic Hours
Dad’s Bottom Line
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying those resorts outside Disney World are bad, I just don’t know. Dad knows Disney!
