Ride Recommendations at the Disney World
by Jimmy
(Indian Trail, NC)
Dad, We are headed to Disney this Saturday and we are going to follow the recommended parks and dates from touring plans. We are hitting only one park per day. Our group has two 8 year olds and a 4 year old. I know we can't hit all of the attractions but which ones are "must do's ??"
We going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Which rides at each park should we concentrate on visiting since we can't get to all of them. Thanks for all of your help and advice.
Have a great day.

Dad's this is gonna be fun Answer
Jimmy,It would be real easy for me to list each ride and talk about each one of them, but I've already done that so I'll just talk about my ride recommendations for your Disney World trip.
I would have a real different list if your kids were older, but here are my recommendations for 4 and 8 year olds ...
In the Magic Kingdom
When you first arrive in the Magic Kingdom, go directly to Dumbo and ride it. The 8 year olds might not like it, but the probably will. Here are the others in the Magic Kingdom
- Buzz Lightyear
- Country Bear Jamboree
- It's a Small World (everyone should ride once)
- Pirates of the Caribbean
In Epcot
Epcot is a bit difficult for younger children but there are a couple of goodiesIn Disney Hollywood Studios
Your day should start at Toy Story Mania. In the Animal Kingdom
Shows take the cake here ...
Dad's Bottom Line
Jimmy, this list is by no way comprehensive, but it does have the not to be missed rides and shows for younger children. You won't want to miss the afternoon parades at the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. You won't want to miss the firework shows. Oh, yeah, don't forget Dad's favorite ride ... the monorail.
