Special Breakfast with an Artist

by Debbie

“I heard there are some special breakfasts, breakfast dining with Disney artists. Is that true? I’m having a hard time reserving lunch with an Imagineer for this August. Any tips?”

Well, Debbie, I have not heard… Well, I’ll take that back. I did hear, I believe it was last year, I think they did something last year where you could eat with an artist. I think it was a breakfast thing, but I can’t find any information about it this year. It’s not something Disney is promoting this year. I think that has gone by the wayside. I don’t think that’s available.

It may be that since Disney closed the Animation Studio that there aren’t an artists available any more. That may be why there isn’t a breakfast with an artist.

As you know, there is the lunch with an Imagineer. There are a couple other things like dining with an animal specialist and some other things that they do, over at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can meet some animal specialists, but as for the breakfast thing, I don’t see that anywhere in Disney’s promotions this year.

I will say that lunch with the Imagineer is very hard to book. It’s one of those that you’ve gotta book early. It’s very popular and it books up real quick, because they don’t do a lot. Only one or two people get to do it every day. It’s hard to get that booked. So, just gotta keep trying. You never know. You might find a time.

Dad’s Bottom Line

The bottom line is the breakfast thing is not available anymore. For lunch with an Imagineer, you just keep trying.
