Disney PhotoPass Day Updates! Disney PhotoPass Day is coming up soon on August 19th. During this day, you will have unique opportunities for exclusive character and Magic Shots. To help you plan your visit, Disney has released the experiences available for you in advance. You don’t want to miss Mushu in the China Pavilion or Captain Hook in Fantasyland. Star Wars Virtual Reality Experience! This fall, Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire is coming to Disney Springs. Just put on some virtual reality glasses and step inside a 3D Star Wars experience like you’ve never experienced. EPCOT Celebrates 35th Anniversary! On October 1st, EPCOT will turn 35 years old! Disney recently revealed a preview of some of the commemorative merchandise they will offer. They have apparel, pins, Magic Bands, glassware, and accessories. Starting in late September, the merchandise will be available throughout EPCOT. American Idol Auditions! Can you sing? Dad sings real good. He might just be too good for American Idol. That leaves an opportunity open for everyone else. If you are 15 or older and love to sing, don’t miss the chance. Auditions will be held on August 17th at Disney Springs West Side near Cirque du Soleil and House of Blues. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is Back! ! Not only is the popular holiday show returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but so is the dessert party! Try some pretzel bread and cheese fondue or pumpkin pie and ice cream. The special food and drinks come at a special price, $79 for adults or $45 for kids ages 3-9 from November 9 through December 15.
