Hi. Dad here with Dad's tip of the week. This week I want to talk to you about the BEST place to watch fireworks at Walt Disney World. In fact, I think I just want to show you. All right. Here. Watch that video above.

Now wasn't that just cool? I just love watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Village Resort. I think it's the Best place in all of Walt Disney World to watch fireworks. The main reason is because, like you could see in that video from our buddy Brett Svenson, you can see all of the fireworks.

See the whole video on Brett's Facebook page

If you're in the park and you're looking down at Main Street, you're gonna be looking to the left, to the right and looking all around to see all the fireworks. Especially the fireworks at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, the Hallowishes fireworks, the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party fireworks, Holliday Wishes. The day special fireworks, the 4th of July, the New Year's fireworks, all these special fireworks show need a very wide angel to see all of them.

If you're in the Magic Kingdom and you're looking down at Main Street, you're gonna be looking to the left, to the right and looking all around to see all the fireworks. But when you're back at the Polynesian Village Resort beach, you get to see all of those fireworks right in front of you.

The Polynesian Village Resort beach is just the BEST place to watch the fireworks at Walt Disney World.

And that's Dad's tip of the week. Bye bye!

Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks from the Polynesian
by: Katrina

Hi. We're visiting Disney over Christmas week and leaving the 31st. Another post here on your site says that the New Year's Eve fireworks show is the same on 12/30 and 12/31. We'd like to catch the 12/30 show. Touringplans.com lists shows at 6:30pm and 11:50pm. Do you know if the earlier show is the same as the later one? And is the Polynesian beach a good spot for viewing them? Can you just park at the Polynesian and see the fireworks if you aren't staying at a Disney resort? Not sure how that works, so any tips you have will be appreciated. There are no 'Ohana dinner reservations left for that night. Any idea if it's possible to just go there for dinner and wait fora table? Thanks again!

Polynesian Village Resort beach

Do you have to be a guest at the Polynesian Village Resort to go there to view the fireworks show? Also if you happen to be in Orlando, is it possible to go there and watch with out park tickets?

Dad Answers

First, anyone can go to the beach at the Polynesian Village Resort. You don't have to be a guest to go to the beach. In fact that video was shot on the 4th of July by a non-guest of the Polynesian.

As to watching the fireworks without going to the parks, absolutely. I've done it several times.
