What week would be best for LEAST Disney World Crowds in November but still be able to see the Osborne Christmas Lights display? Veterans Day is Nov. 11, 2011. Is Veterans Day a crowded day at any of the parks? Went in Dec. 2010 and FROZE so wanted to try earlier in Nov. but yet when lights would be turned on and least crowds. Taking 3 year old (at that time) Granddaughter. Thanks so much for your help!
Dad’s early is better Answer
Veterans Day is almost as insignificant to Disney World crowds as Columbus Day. It doesn’t really make any significant difference. That’s probably because of the proximity to Thanksgiving. Not many schools take time off just before the Thanksgiving break. A Friday Veterans Day might bring some extra guests to the Magic Kingdom, but not really do much to the other parks.
So which week has the least Disney World Crowds in November and will still let you see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights? Assuming that Disney follows the pattern, the first date for the Osborne Family display and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be November 7 or so. It would be a big change if they didn’t start that week sometime.
That week is also the slowest week of the month. However the week of the 13th is also slow, but picks up just a bit toward the end of the week as Thanksgiving week crowds start arriving.
