I’ve got a quick little news release that just might make your day. Disney Parks has just launched an official parks Twitter account @WDWToday. This was designed with park guests in mind so that they are able to connect with cast members during their vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Among things you will be able to find while following @WDWToday are tips, suggestions, and answers to questions. That’s right, you are able to tweet questions to @WDWToday and they might respond to help you while you are on vacation!

Maybe you are looking for a great spot to watch the parade or want to find a certain character, just tweet your question.

It sounds like an interesting idea and I’m very curious to see it in action. Mostly I want to find out how different it would be than just using My Disney Experience to look up character meet and greets, for example. Although, I do remember one time I was on Main Street U.S.A. and forgot where Walt’s window was. I asked about 4 different cast members and no one could help me. Perhaps it would have come in handy then. (I did end up finding it all by myself though!)
