"Hi Dad!!!! I have booked my trip for end of August and 1st of September. My question is if there is a countdown calendar or app or do people just make there own up?"

Ryan, congratulations! YOU'RE GOING TO WALT DISNEY WORLD! Boy oh boy this is exciting. Counting down to a Disney trip is one of my favorite traditions. There are a bunch of ways to go about it, so here are some ideas:

A few years ago, a friend gave me an actual, real, live (well, not LIVE exactly), countdown clock for Disney. It's cute and has a Disney border with a digital clock face. I just put in my trip date and each day it tells me how close I'm getting to my trip. Pretty neat. It was a gift so I don't know where my friend got it, but the internet is full of shopping options...

If you want to go a little more high tech, check out the My Disney Experience site tells you how many days to go whenever you log in. There are also lots of apps you can download that help you countdown to WDW. Since I have my trusty countdown clock I don't use one, but why don't you go to Dad's Facebook Community and see what suggestions folks there have?

If, like Dad, you prefer a more "paper" approach to a "plastic one (catch up on THAT story here), Dad has a few ideas. The first is to check out this blog over at the WDW Discount Club, Dad's money-saving site! It's got some fun ideas for your family to try.

WDW Thrills Calendar

Those planning stickers are really fun.

And of course, Dad's saved the best for last. The WDW Thrills Calendar is a great way to countdown the days to your trip, and it even comes with handy, colorful planning stickers. It doesn't get better than that.

Dad's Bottom Line

Counting down to WDW is a great way to get excited for your trip and keep your planning organized so you don't miss a beat.
