We are traveling to Disney World for my son’s 13th birthday. Our plan was to go Nov 11-19 but we are hearing that the holiday decorations and activities aren’t in full swing yet. Is this correct? The only other time we could go is the week after Thanksgiving BUT we were hoping for free dining which is often blacked out that week. I really want this to be special so any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Dad’s Have Your Turkey Answer
Tina, it looks like you just might be able to have your Turkey and eat it too. That’s saying a lot because with any trip, you can’t always get what you want (but if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need…)
Dad sings good.
Back to your trip. You have two options. If you go November 11-19 as currently planned, you’ll miss Free Dining (you need to have arrival dates of November 15-21 or 26-28 to be eligible that month) and while some of Christmas has begun at WDW, it won’t be in full swing.
On the other hand, if you arrive after Thanksgiving on November 26, 27, or 28 – you’ll get Free Dining (pending availability – and you should move on that immediately if you want it) AND the holiday festivities will be running at full speed.
Dad’s friends at Destinations to Travel LLC. can help you sort everything out, lickety split. Give Shannon and her team a shout!
Boy oh boy, Dad sure loves Christmas at Disney World! You’re in for a real treat!
Dad’s Bottom Line
Tina, act fast and you just might be able to snag a reservation that checks off every box on your list. Good luck!
